System Overview

The GL-115 / ULS / 2×2 is a SLIM FRAME glass folding system designed to deliver maximum flexibility in opening and closing while maintaining high thermal and acoustic insulation and a refined modern architectural appearance. The 2×2 configuration allows each pair of panels to move together as a single unit, ensuring a perfect balance between smooth operation and structural stability for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Engineering Configuration

The system is manufactured using high-quality slim frame aluminum profiles and operates with a double folding mechanism supported by a top-hung load system mounted on a track.
Movement is guided by a bottom guide only, equipped with circular rollers integrated into the lower profile to ensure smooth and stable operation without an upper guide, preserving a clean and minimal upper architectural line.
Each pair of panels is connected using four aluminum hinges (top, bottom, and two middle hinges) to ensure high load capacity and balanced weight distribution.
Security is provided through a central locking system with two locking bolts per panel unit, in addition to top and bottom bolts between each pair of panels that lock into the upper and lower profiles, ensuring full rigidity and safety when closed.
Glazing options are fully customizable and include single glazing or double glazing, either with vacuum double glass for superior thermal and acoustic insulation and condensation prevention, or conventional air-filled double glazing suitable for various applications.

Accessories

All accessories are manufactured entirely from high-quality aluminum, including operating mechanisms, hinges, integrated handles, and locking components. Accessories are fully concealed within the profiles to maintain the clean and elegant appearance characteristic of SLIM FRAME systems, with continuous rubber sealing around the glass, profiles, and between panels.

Safety and Insulation

The system is fully sealed with integrated rubber gaskets that prevent air and dust infiltration and provide high thermal and acoustic insulation. A child-safe design minimizes the risk of hand trapping during operation, ensuring safe and reliable daily use.

Optional Folding Mesh System

The system can be equipped with an optional folding aluminum mesh system, featuring fine ventilation openings, perimeter brushes, and a central locking mechanism (open / close), allowing natural ventilation while preventing insects and maintaining privacy.
