System Overview

The GL-115-BF-2R-3L is an advanced SLIM FRAME folding balcony system that combines the stability of a fixed lower section with the flexibility of an upper folding configuration. By utilizing double glazing, the system delivers enhanced thermal and acoustic insulation, ensuring high levels of comfort and safety. The design allows partial opening of the façade without affecting overall system performance, making it ideal for high-end residential and mixed-use projects.

Engineering Configuration

The system is manufactured using high-quality SLIM FRAME aluminum profiles and operates with a top-hung folding mechanism mounted on a track to ensure stability and balanced load distribution.

The configuration includes:

• A fixed lower section equipped with vacuum double glazing, enhancing thermal and acoustic insulation and preventing condensation.

• An upper folding section that provides full flexibility in opening and movement.

The opening layout is distributed as two panels to the right and three panels to the left (2R + 3L), allowing controlled partial or full opening depending on user requirements without compromising the stability of the remaining panels.

The system features a central locking mechanism with centrally positioned handles, along with top and bottom locking bolts to ensure tight and secure closure.
A dedicated rear track is integrated for installing a folding mesh system, with the mesh meeting at the center of the façade and sealed using a leakage-preventing brush to ensure complete closure and protection.

Accessories

All accessories are manufactured entirely from high-quality aluminum, including internal and external handles, central locking components, top and bottom bolts, and folding operating mechanisms.
Accessories are fully concealed within the profiles, with continuous rubber sealing around glass, profiles, and panels to enhance insulation and prevent air and dust infiltration.

Safety and Insulation

The system delivers high thermal and acoustic insulation through double glazing and air-extraction technology, effectively preventing condensation. It ensures secure locking when closed, protects against insects and dust, and provides smooth, stable, vibration-free operation.

Optional Folding Mesh System

The façade can be equipped with an optional folding aluminum mesh system, featuring fine ventilation openings, perimeter brushes, and a central locking system (open / close), allowing natural ventilation while preventing insects and maintaining privacy.
